My BDJ #perksofabella Experience: Subic Grand Seas Resort =)

Hello readers of dutchfairyph blog. Many good things happened to me this year. I started this blog and I am happy that I met a lot of new friends thru it. I was able to attend events and shared the things I learned from it here in my blog. My career also levelled up. I was transferred from Pediatric ward to Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. It was a challenge for me because I need to adjust to my new working environment. Thank God I was able to adapt and I learned a lot from it. With those busy and stressful things that happened oh I need a break. 🙂

I am thankful that I had the chance to use my vacation leave. With that I spent three days of my two weeks vacation in this wonderful hotel resort in Subic.

My BDJ discount voucher of Subic Grand Seas Resort.

My best friend accompanied me in this vacation trip. I used my 40% discount voucher of Subic Grand Seas Resort from my Belle de Jour Power Planner. The accommodation includes an overnight stay in a deluxe room, free use of pool, one hour complimentary massage and breakfast for two persons. It was priced at P 3,700 but because of the discount voucher we got it for P 2,200. To maximize our trip, we opted to stay for another day and paid 2,999.

All set. My pack light skills was tested.

Subic Grand Seas Resort is a 4 hour drive away from Manila. We took a bus in Caloocan (Victory Liner) going to Olongapo City. Victory Liner has a regular trip to Olongapo with an interval of 30 minutes. From Olongapo City bus terminal we rode a blue jeepney with a signage of Subic and we told the driver to drop us to Baretto. The resort was easy to locate because it’s just along the highway.

Outside view of the hotel.

The second floor hallway.

The resort has 22 air-conditioned Balinese inspired deluxe rooms. We were assigned at Room 208 which is located at the second floor. Me and my best friend chose the twin deluxe type of room, the one with two separate beds.

The key.

Room tour please. =)

Every room has this cute signage. =)

The room is very spacious. It was neatly arranged. It has a nice smell too.

There is an office table with telephone and mirror.

The room has this mini snack bar area where you can store some food and drinks.

The mini snack bar area has a personal refrigerator. Inside it you can find two complimentary bottled mineral water.

There’s also a mini closet with a safety box for your valuables.

The bathroom has a sink and shower. It is clean and cozy. There are basic toiletries provided like mini soap, shampoo, lotion and tooth care set.

Outside you will see the infinity and kiddie pool. The pool is around 5 feet deep and it’s facing the beach. The water in the pool is clean and warm which I find very relaxing.

The beautiful pool at day time.

The resort has an in-house restaurant which is the Crab Loco restaurant. I used my 20 % discount voucher that I got as a prize at the BDJ Fair 2014. We ordered my favorite laing and nilagang baka. We also had free breakfast the next day.

Our order. The seafood laing is the best.

We’re so full. =P

The beach area is so beautiful. Here are some photos.

The beautiful view of the beach.

I really enjoyed this beach vacation. For me the 3 days and 2 nights stay is not enough. I will go back to this place and explore other activities that the resort offers.
