I love Japanese food. I find their food fresh, tasty and at the same time healthy. Last November 6, 2014 I was invited by Ms. Elaine, Zomato Philippines Communication Manager for their foodie meet up. The foodie meet up was held at Teppanyaki Xpress in Fisher Mall. It was my first time to attend Zomato’s foodie meet up that’s why I am kinda excited. Teppanyaki Xpress is located at the 2nd Floor of Fisher Mall, Quezon Avenue, West Triangle in Quezon City.
The restaurant has this nice interior very Japanese.
The restaurant is spacious enough to accommodate approximately 50 persons.
The restaurant has a wide variety of Japanese dishes to choose. Aside from their Teppanyaki dishes, they also offer different sushi, maki and sashimi dishes, soups and noodles. They also offer standard set dishes which includes a soup, rice, meat/seafood and a vegetable dish.
Our gastronomic experience started with a tea. We were served a hot cup of green tea. The green tea is very relaxing. Next we were served with a hot miso soup. The miso soup is very tasty.
The green tea and miso soup.
After the tea and soup we were served with an appetizer. It’s called the shishamo (Japanese pregnant fish). The fish was very tasty.
After the appetizing Japanese pregnant fish, we were served with series of mouthful Japanese dishes. Enjoy the food that you will see. 🙂
Gyuniku Chizu Beef with Cheese.
Spicy Salmon Sushi. I love this one because it’s very tasty.
Their Sashimi dishes is perfectly paired with a special soy sauce which is imported from Taiwan.
Their serving of shrimp Tempura is very big.
What can you say about this dish? This was made by the owner and were the first to try this new dish.
The dancing egg. The toppings on top of the egg literally moves that’s why it was called dancing egg.
Chahan (Japanese fried rice). It comes in three flavors: beef, chicken or shrimp.
Okonomiyaki (Japanese pancake). It has vegetables and seafood as a filling. The serving is big enough for 5 persons.
Their pork dish is so tender and tasty.
Angus beef teppan. It taste good. The meat is tender and tasty.
Ika (Shrimp) teppan.
Hotatagai (Scallops) teppan. I love their Teppanyaki dishes. It was served hot that’s why you’ll know it’s fresh. The meat is very tender and flavorful.
What I like about Teppanyaki Xpress is their price. Each meal is affordably priced without compromising the taste and serving of the dish. The meals are also guaranteed fresh because you can watch as the chef prepare your order. If you want to try Teppanyaki Xpress visit their branch at Fisher Mall branch now!
